We have extensive experience working with amateur and professional athletes from a number of different sports and discaplines, right up to World Cup level. Please contact us to discuss your requiements.

Personal Training

When it comes to health and wellbeing, or even sporting performance, one size does not fit all. Our personal training option allows us to tailor your training to fit your goals and lifestyle. These bespoke one to one sessions are flexible and designed by our head coach  to get you the results you’re looking for.

Female Strength

We understand how intimidating it can be as a woman to step into the weights section of a commercial gym. That’s why we created our dedicated female only weights programme where women can train in a supportive environment without feeling watched or judged. Not only that but womens’ bodies don’t respond to training the same way mens’ do nor do men and women necessarily have the same goals. That’s why our programme is specifically designed with the female body in mind.

HIIT Bootcamp

Looking for bang for your buck? HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training is the perfect way to increase fat burning and improve stamina when you’re short on time. Each 45 minute session combines bodyweight movements with weighted exercises to maximise your results

Personal Training

Our personal training sessions run at a time most suitable for you, outside of our standard group session timetable.

Personal training packages start at £140 for a block of 4 sessions.

Female Strength Training

That’s why we created our dedicated female only weights programme where women can train in a supportive environment without feeling watched or judged. Not only that but womens’ bodies don’t respond to training the same way mens’ do nor do men and women necessarily have the same goals. That’s why our programme is specifically designed with the female body in mind.

These are small group ‘semi-private’ sessions, essentially the closest thing to Personal Training but without the high ticket cost.

Our semi-private female strength sessions are £100 for access to upto 16 sessions over a month.

HIIT Bootcamp

Looking for bang for your buck? HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training is the perfect way to increase fat burning and improve stamina when you’re short on time. Each 45 minute session combines bodyweight movements with weighted exercises to maximise your results.

Our HIIT Bootcamp sessions run every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.30pm until 8.15pm and are suitable for all abilities.

HIIT Bootcamp is £60 for a 12 session, one month pass.

Our head coach Martin has a wealth of experience in working with professional championship winning athletes, right up to World Cup and Olympic calabur.

Introduction to Strongman/Strongwoman

If you fancy yourself as a budding Eddie Hall or Donna Moore, then our introduction to Strongman / Strongwoman course could be just what you’re looking for.

Have fun and learn the typical strongman events in a safe, fun environment.

Frequently asked questions

 

I have an underlying medical condition/injury, can I still train safely and effectively?

Absolutely! Our head coach Martin has a wealth of experience working with individeals recovering from injury and illness. Unlike some of the bigger gyms where sessions can be quite busy, here at OneTake Fitness we keep the group sizes small so that everyone receives the attention and support they need.

Additionally, we have access to some excellent phyiotherapists and sports injury/soft tissue therapists to ensure you receive the best possible support.

Am I too old to train?

You’re never too old! We have a number of clients in their 60s and beyond. Our experienced team are always on hand to advise on any mobility issues and limitations and workouts can be adapted for all abilities.

Doesn't lifting weights make women bulky?

Muscle gain is determined by body type and testosterone levels. Women simply don’t have enough naturally occuring testosterone to bulk up. Lifting weights will however help them to tone up and get an athletic looking body.
